I can't see the Sun! (major problem)

Postby Wingo » Tue Jun 28, 2005 4:50 am

I was taking Screenshots the other day and went looking for the sun to take a shot of it and my plane, and shock horror it wasn't there! I get all the other effects of it like glare but no sun or lens flare! It suddenly disappeared a couple of days ago. Could anyone help?

UPDATE: OK, i just tried re-installing and... i still can't see the sun!! I've changed ALL my settings, i've tried everything. I've tried the Sun mod as well... The texture will not display... Can anyone help??

Maybe you accidentaly deleted the sun texture file? I'm not that good at scenery but I think it sounds like a reasonable theory...
Cheers,

There are probably better suns out there. As Lemoncat said - get a better one rather than looking for the default.

Scroll down for a nice sun there. 8)

Oh no, sorry about that.   ;D

That is pretty cool, so when you turn OFF the sun, is it still daylight via indirect lighting?

I guess that cool SUNsets are out of the question huh?

Well good luck getting your sun back!!

Could you post a pic with the default and the sunmod?

Thanks in advance,

OK... I tried the Sunmod and it didn't work... i'm running out of options. I'm going to re-organise my scenery and if that doesn't work i'm going to re-install....
