Installing Aircraft Effects etc

When installing your aircraft you sometimes get folders with Effects, Guages and Sound.

Once they have been placed into their folders, can they be deleted from the aircratf folder?????????  or are they required for association.

Yes, the only things an acft. folder must contain are:

model folder
panel folder
sound folder
texture folder
air file .......and
acft.cfg file

There might be other files like a checklist, notepad etc., but only those mentioned above are required.
