Contrail Problem

When flying at high altitudes and the contrails form behind the plane something wierd happens.

One set of contrails forms correctlly behind the plane and another starts out normal and then arches down towards the ground. I have not installed any third-party contrails-they are default. I also do not remember when they started

Does anyone have a solution to this problem? i would include a screenshot if I knew how.

That happens when an add-on, usually a FS2002 aircraft, overwrites the FS2004 contrails with FS2002 contrails.

(For this reason you should usually select 'no' when asked to overwrite files, unless you know the overwrite is necessary for the installation.)

You can copy the correct files from CD1\MSGAME1.cab.
Files'fx_contrail_l.fx' and 'fx_contrail_s.fx'. Just copy the files into the 'Effects' folder and overwrite when asked.

...but first; take a screenshot. (There's a tutorial on the forum if you don't know how.)

I wanna see this; it sounds cool!
