AI traffic problem........

Postby Airborn511 » Sat Jun 25, 2005 7:18 pm

Hi all,
looking for some help :)
I installed USA AI traffic 2005 by David Hays(freeware),the package itself runs good. But I now have two of MS AI flying around together. Two of the same planes'like two skyhawk 172 SP  or two C208 Caravan AMP. flying together.I even get two warnings from the ATC about the planes.......both of them........
Any Ideas on how to fix this?
In the read me David has a link to some kind of AI forum but it seems to be dead.........
Thanks

That is because much of the new flightplan is a duplicate of the default flightplan, but substitutes ais-ai commercial aircraft for the default commercials.

With both flightplans loading (the default 'traffic030528.bgl' and 'traffic_USA.bgl') you'll see many duplicate flights.

The quick solution is to disable one of the 'traffic*.bgl' files. These are located in the 'Flight Simulator 9\Scenery\world\scenery\' folder. Rename 'traffic030528.bgl'  to something, like 'traffic030528.disabled'

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
