Look Ma, No Wheels

Postby Bubblehead » Sat Jun 25, 2005 12:08 am

 ??? ??? ??? ??? ??? ???

I just downloaded the Black Bird (SR 71). My problem is that looking at it from the outside, it shows the aircraft off the ground but shows no landing gears.  Did I miss anything?

One more question: When "flying" some of my downloaded aircraft, I sometimes experience my joystick hard to control. When I look at the aircraft from the outside, I notice the elevators "fluttering". It seem to correct the situation  if I decrease speed substantially. As i pointed out, this phenomenon occurs only in a few of my collection. One in particular was a recently downloaded C130. Any suggestion to correct?

Sorry Bub, you've got a model that wasn't made in either GMax or FSDS2 which means that you'll never get the gear and in the case of a prop aircraft, the props, or in the case of a jet aircraft, the engine fans.

No fix for these problems. You either have to live with them or delete the model.

BTW

The control surface fluttering is often a sign of over-speeding. Again, if you're not flying that fast it could be down to a pre-FS9 fde. Could try swapping the air file from a similar FS9 aircraft but often you have to make changes in the cfg file too I'm afraid.

...see NO reason why you won't get gear by doing what I said..............maybe just try it eh..commoner ;)

..this is a plane made for fs2000......you might get other funny effects but you should get gear..... ;D
