BIG PROBLEM!!!!!

Postby captjim » Tue Jun 21, 2005 4:03 pm

 ??? :'(

Hi fellow simmers, captjim here again.  Problem with fs9.  I have uninstalled and reinstalled the program several times, and when I try and "Create a Flight", the bottom half of the screen is black, regardless of the aircraft involved.  If I right click, the panel comes up, but nothing happens.  When I left click, the blank screen comes up again.  Can't figure this one out, please help.   Thanks, captjim

Seems to recollect a problem I had somewhere. I can't think how/what I did to solve it, but all my problems have always been cured by a reinstall.
Have you the resolution too high?

Then of course have you installed anything or done anything other than put the sheer basic sim on?

Saitek,  As far as I know the resolution is fine and all of the settings are in the default mode.  Beats me.  captjim

Hmmm a tough one. No add-ons installed?
Graphics card video drivers up to date? If you haven't added anything that could have corrupted the files then I wonder what it could be.

Sounds like a drivers problem to me.  Try re-installing current ones, updating them, or reverting to old ones.

..You could try the old favourite , either delete the FS9.cfg file

1. Is it an ATI Card you have ?
2. Regardless wich card it is .. I had such problems in some applications with my old card when antialiasing was turned on in the driver settings.
