Do you get the sam head bob with F1 view that you do with active cam?  I swear, I asked google first, and I came up with like one link to the download.  Thanks.

You don't get the head bob, but I've found F1 much easier to use than AC, which wasn't even difficult to use.  (Imagine making it even easier!)

Having played with AC quite extensively, I didn't really like it.  It often times skewed the image, it would lock up and I'd just keep walking in a certain direction, and the background scenery would often disappear.

I've NEVER had a problem with F1.  Free and more stable...I can live without a head bob.   ;)

F1 View works for me and it's FREE . . .

P.S. Don't forget to use the FS9 keyboard view commands for additional views with F1

I dunno... I've seen a few videos done with active came and the head bob looked REALLY cool-I'll get F1view and try it first though ;)

I like F1 View. I've tried the AC demo and I didn't really like the head bob, got a little distracting after a little while.

Ahh, but see, I'd NEVER use a cockpit shot in a video, because it's not at all realistic.  You can't get a camera inside someone's head.

Most of it was done from the passenger's seat, in the front and back ;)

So THERE! :P ;D

I first downloaded AC and tried it in demo restricted to Seattle.
It is really powerfull and certainly THE tool for who wish to make sophisticated screenshots and videos. But for the average simmer like me who first want to to fly, it make things more complicated. I had always to pause the flight for the time to get the wished view (I hate to pause a flight) Some bugs must be turned around by choosing wisely the view mode sequence. skewed proportion etc. In fact it the first concern become the image and the second the flight.

I finally removed AC and tried F1. Very simple with less possibilities but enough for what i wanted (easy change of thre point of view position) and simple enough to keep the flight at the focus  of the game.

I completely disagree.  Most (if not all) of my screenshots, which have been called things like "excellent" and "superb" were taken with F1View.

THE tool for people wishing to create good screens is an artist's eye and some creativity.

Most of what F1 can do can be done with regular key commands too. The only thing I couldnt figure out how to do with the keyboard was move the eypoint while in chase-plane view. My point- for good VC shots like in this months contest, you dont really need anything! but F1 View makes it so much easier.
