Transferring CFS3 aircraft

Postby arggg45 » Sun Jun 19, 2005 4:46 pm

Hi all,
I am relatively new to flight simulator, and want to transfer a few of the aircraft from my cfs3 to my fs9. I have been successful in adding aircraft off this site to my collection, but want to add these. I am curious if this can be done. I have copied and pasted the aircraft from the cfs3 aircraft folders to the fs9 folders and they appear in the aircraft folder of fs9. however, when the game is started they are no where to be found. help please
>:(

I don't think it is possible to move A/C between the two, because CFS3 uses a different format for aircraft than FS and the previous CFS's.

i forgot to say that i had no problem installing cfs2 aircraft into my fs2002 a couple of years back. i dunno if that helps, but i tried to do it the same way. and if there is no way, is there a good p-51 download for fs9????

CFS3 aircraft will not transfer to any other simulator. It is a model issue.
CFS2 aircraft (mostly) will work in FS9 however ;)

There are two types of aeroplane, Spitfires and everything else that wishes it was a Spitfire!
