Engine minimum speeds

Many aircraft add-ons seem to have a problem where you cannot slow down the aircraft to land.

Sounds like you're coming in too steep.   Nose up a little bit and you'll bleed off some speed in no time.  Then with your flaps out you should be golden. ;)

I don't think it can be too steep an approach engle, because I cannot even wash off speed if flying level!

Some aircraft use speed brakes/spoilers to help, don't know if the B-47 had them.  These are generally deployed during descent, I think.

Peter,

Another suggestion would be to check the calibration of your throttle controller.

If more than one or two aircraft are affected the same way, it's more likely to be a problem with your hardware.

I've downloaded over 50 different aircraft types over the past few years, and have never had the problem you described.

A quick way to check (assuming you use a joystick) is to disconnect the stick and run the throttle from your keyboard.

Let us know if any of this is helpful to you.

Regards,
JerryH

How far away do you begin your descent, and at what altitude?  You should maintain 250 under 10000.

Somehow, some of  you don't seem to get what the fellow is saying. Indeed , he may have joystick calibration problem.   For the heck of it, he should use F1  an watch his speed.
