I've downloaded a DC-9 panel by Stellan Himberly, and everything is fine expect the sound error. Everytime I try to fly with that aircraft at some airport, I get this error, "Soundlib-error; Sound file not found".

What does that mean!!?? It has been fustrating me for days and I cannot figure it out. If I try to change out the sound with different aircraft sounds, and the same panel, I get that same error.

Can someone please help me out there??

FSSound.dll ...... is that the error message you're getting?

You need to check that the above module is in your modules folder and then add the following to the FS9.cfg

[OldModules]
fssound.dll=1

To find the FS9.cfg follow this path
c:\Documents and Settings\{your account}\Application Data\Microsoft\FS9

You will have to show hidden files and folders to find your Application Data.

Hope this helps

No  :( that didn't help at all. I made sure I got rid of any oldmodule duplicates, put the gagesound.dll in the sound folder and outside the sound folder and into the aircraft folder, but still nothing.

I get a dialog box saying at the top "soundlib-error". In the middle it says "sound-file not found". So I don't know what to do.

Do caps really make a difference?
