Sound-off Message?

Hello all,
Is there anyway to get rid of the Sound-off message? I know there is a way to get rid of the parking brake message, so I was wondering if the same implies for the Sound message.

Hi Ash..........That message only appears when you want to toggle the sound on or off using the Q key right?...........if you don't want that option then go to Settings/Assignments...select Sound ON/OFF from the list and click the Delete Key Assignment button.......that has the added advantage that you can then put the key to some other use.......commoner

Hi Commoner,
Thanks for your quick response. I forgot to mention another fact about FS. Everytime I turn on the sound, FS Crashes. So, I have to fly without sound all the time. I have tried to restart my computer but to no avail. I really don't want to reinstall FS just because of sounds becuase I have some payware.

...Ah...well, not quite the same thing eh?....I wouldn't like to have to fly without sound..............I'd rather bite the bullet and reinstall myself...........commoner
