Hi, Sim Fellows!
How do I change the aircraft.cfg to get an aircraft off the ground before it crashes outside the airport?
This happends on some of my downloaded aircrafts when taking off from p.e. Meigs Int. Airport.
Regards
Kjell

what aircraft are you trying to get off the runway from meigs? its only large enough to handle small commuter jets at best really. Failing that make sure the plane is not overweight using the fuel and payload screen, and make sure you have the correct flap settings.

Also might want to double check your trim settings. If you have a bunch of nose down trim it'll take forever to get off the ground.
As part of the runup for any flight I always check my weight, trim, flaps and do a visual inspection that my control surfaces are working as they should. You'd be surprised how often it's possible to have the AP still on and your control surfaces don't work properly. Easy way to end a flight real fast. Also with twin or more than one engine you may want to add a check that all engines are running in synch with the throttles. You can have the focus on one engine and end up off the side of the runway.

Thanks very much, Matt!
Everything you said is under control, but as CraigL told me I'll have to use a airport with longer runway for the largest airplanes. I was'nt aware that the Meigs Int. Airport was too small for the bigger airplanes.
