Old news (a couple of weeks

), and Microsoft hasn't even said what the next variation will be. Remember they are in the process of doing a research study at this moment...

oh dear what a pity.

how is this game delayed again? did MS say it would be released this year? i didn't see it ever said it would be. just because we have been lucky to have one every 2 years doesn't mean MS have ever made it an official thing.

i hope the game has a little bit better graphics but WAY better realism. I also hope the planes are OK
so we get more add ons. Flightsim is way more fun with addons for me

Just think FS2006 will actually be released in 2006 unlike FS2004 which was released in 2003

FS2006 (an unlikely name, when you read on) is likely to be 64-bit. This means it will need to wait until Longhorn (the new version of Windows) comes out. That has been delayed and is now down as 'late 2006'. Meanwhile, MS is putting all their resources into X-Box games and developing X-Box 2. I think 'FS2006' is likely to be a long time coming, so no point waiting. At my age there is no pint making plans too far ahead, so I say bring on the next version of Traffic! Remember that none of your current software (printers, drivers etc.) will be compatible with Longhorn - it will be like Win3.1 to Win95 - so start saving up for a new PC now.
News I gleaned from the JustFlight forum....if true we have a long wait
