Is it possible to disable the autotune feature for the transponder? It doesn't seem to be anywhere in the settings.

well I know there is a way to do it, but I can't remember where you can change that.
hmm, just spent a few minutes looking around the sim and somehow I can't find it either!

Not sure where it is, but it's gotta be there somewhere..

You could just fail to respond to the "squawk" request and tune the xponder manually. Once it it it tuned manually you should hear an atc confirmation.

you dont have to hit the button to change radio's, but you still need to hit the respond button, becuase most likely ther is more than one option.
so you can manually change the radio, but you'll still need the ATC up for confirmation or requests

Let me clarify.
When ATC says "Squawk 1234" there are 2 options.
1. Click OK, in which case the xponder is automatically tuned to 1234 and ATC says "Radar contact confirmed" (or whatever)
2. Don't click OK. You could even close the ATC window. Manually tune the xponder to 1234. ATC should respond with "Radar contact confirmed".
Most people just find it easier to let the autotune do it.

Thanks for the info. I didn't think of just not responding and setting it then.
