F1view+VC+external.......

Postby Souichiro » Sat May 28, 2005 5:15 pm

Got a little question here ;D

As some of you might have noticed, Kirk olssons Falcon allows you to go external (outside of the plane) with F1view while not messing up the plane.....This leads to interesting posibilities and therefore nice shot opportunities. However I have yet to find another plane in which I can do the same.....Any suggestions?
(freeware please)

Thanks in advance

I think that all has to do with the model...

In most VCs, the whole plane is not modeled, just what you see in the cockpit...

Active Camera will let you go outside any airplane in FS without messing up the airplane. It does however mess up the scenery since FS doesn't refresh scenery while you are in VC mode except for the direction you are looking.

Workaround:

For good screenshots with AC I just make sure I'm facing the direction I want to take the shot from before hitting the key to go outside.

F1 view is good enough for me! Walk and follow would suit better than Active cam I think.

Update:

So far tried and failed:

Kbt Fa18E/F EAG and Orion
AH Seafire
737 exp
757 from posky
Sea Hurricane
and several others.

One came close the Simtech La-7 but missing Pilot and gear
