Anyone heard of this one. After a few minutes of flying online, using squawkbox 3 my joystick starts lagging by a good few seconds. Most annoying.

Wish i knew what was causing it. Joystick is a Saitek X45 with newest drivers installed. Can anyone help me?????.........PLEASE!!

What sort of frame rates are you getting while online. Helicopters are virtualy uncontrolable because of the lag below about 12 FPS. does it run online as normal without squawkbox running.

Have just tried it just now as we speak. Uninstalled Squawkbox 3 and reinstalled the previous version with Roger Wilco. So far it seems to be working OK now. Don't think i'll bother with SB3 from now on.

Will fly for a little while to see what happens.

Keep you posted. Thanks for your interest.

Figured out the problem. Roger Wilco is causing the lag.

If I start up FS2004, then HostSB followed by SB2. Then connect to Multiplayer....as you do, everything is AOK. Roger Wilco opens up and sits in the system tray as an icon. The problem only happens whenever i open up the Roger Wilco program from the tray. As long as i don't touch it and leave it in the background then everything works OK.....so far
