ATC problem

Postby airlinefly » Sat May 28, 2005 1:24 pm

First, let me start off by saying hello to everyone.  ;D

Second, I am having a tough time with the ATC feature on Simulator 2004. How can I get ATC to address all of my airline call names?

For example, I can have ATC announce an Alaska MD-80 as "Alaska 1123..." in a IFR or VFR plan. However, ATC will not announce an Alleigant MD-80 with it's airline name, Alleigant. ATC will only announce the flight number. So in other words, it will ATC will announce some airline names and the flight numbers and others it will announce the flight numbers only. How can I get ATC to announce any airline call name that I have for my aircraft? ???

I hope I'm clear enough.

your airline is not listed in the voice pack.(airlines.cfg in fs AIRCRAFT folder)

Get Editvoicepack download from www.editvoicepack.com and add your own call signs and/or others from various simmers that Editvoicepack makes available.

airlinefly,

Papa-metro's suggestion of EditVoicepack is right on. It's a very valuable program for adding call signs.

However, for your immediate problem, my airline list shows ALLEGIANT is the correct spelling.

Give it a try.
