I have seen in the FS2004 Aircraft editor that it is possible to add emergency boost to a plane, but there is no key command in FS2004 that activates it. Do i need a patch to use it? Or isn't it possible to use it at all.

I've never tried using an emergency boost, but if there isn't a key command assigned, assign one and see

That is an old feature from CFS2. It should work just fine in FS9. I've got a Paul Rebuffat Spitfire with it on

WEP will work in FS9 but you need an older gauge(not xml) to engage it (as there is no key assignment)+ a few changes to the airfile

they have WEP in CFS3, good luck finding it though

also the only aircraft i know that has emergency power is the Cessna Caravan. (Cessna 208B)

I've got it on a 2d panel, so I must have the gauge somewhere, but if you click on the panel she works. I'll try and find the gauge name

Hi google "wep gauge" with quotes you will see a link for a  patch for a missing wep gauge grab that.Or look for jwb_wep.gau(maybe already on your system)
unforantaly it looks like http://www.fsgauges.com/
has gone belly up that was such a kool sight for locating gauges
