I want to add my own face to the pilots in FS2004, how do I do it?

Basically you'd have to repaint the pilot texture. Check the repainting forums for more detailed advice.
Here's the short version. Take a picture of yourself. Open up your graphic editor and paste your head on the pilot's texture.
Admittedly, that's the REALLY easy version of what you need to do, but it'll get you on the right path...

richy40,
Here's a little more detailed explanation of how this is done.
In the aircraft folder is a folder (or folderS) called "texture.X (where "X" is something like a number or a name). In that folder are files that are the textures that are "mapped" onto the 3_D model of the aircraft. These textures include such items as the inside of the wheelwells, the inside of the flaps when they are extended, and the inside of the cockpit. They alos have (SOMEWHERE) a picture of the pilot (and copilot if it is a two seater).
You will need to open the textrures files in a paint program and find the pilot image. To open them you usually need to convert them to a easily edited form from the "extended" form that the simulator uses them in. A freeware program called "DXTbmp" is just the tool to convert them (in both directions).
You fisrt convert a COPY of the files to a form that your paint program can edit. You find the image of the pilot. Then you take a picture of yourself, edit out the background garbage leaving pretty much only your face, and scale it to fit EXACTLY over the existing pilot picture. Once you have it correct, you paste it in place of (or right over) the old pilot.
Then save the file copy. Then open it in DXTbmp and convert it to an extended format texture.
Then make a back up copy of the original texture file. Paste the NEW extended texture file you created in place of the original texture file.
Start up the sim and check yourself out. Tweak the placement of "you" in the texture file until it looks good.
Hope this helps.
best,

in e of the default aircraft (if not all), the pilot texture has his face mapped in an angle...
