FSUIPS and P3 Orion

After reading all the reviews and a visit to the website, I convinced myself that the 71megs could be justified on my phone bill (my wife, some how, does not seem to share this opinion) However I digress.
Down load complete, I hit install, all works fine, Start FS9 and the aircraft load starts, then stops. I get the following message:
One or more programs you are usingis not accredited for access to and unregistered copy of FSUIPS. Please see FSUIPS.log.
This is the only aircraft that gives this message. As for the FSUIPS.log, after scanning my hard drives, I cannot find it.
I installed a free version of FSUIPS form Simv to play about with the weather addon. Has this now "upset" everything.
If I de-install and go back to FS standard (thought I fine no folder or reference to FSUIPS in software listing), will this cure my problem, or do I have to lay cash on the table for FSUIPS to get this fine airctaft to run??

Thanks
Matt ???

The problem your having is with the radar  ..... I think its the F16 gauge. All you'll need is the key to unlock it.
Check out Pete Dowsons site forums for the keys.

Someone on here will probably post a link.

First, you should be looking for "FSUIPC.log" not FSUIPS.log.

You'll find it in your FS9 "Modules" directory.

No, you do not need the registered version of FSUIPC to
run with the P-3 or any other F16.gau equiped panel.

Make sure you have the latest "free" version (3.48 ) from:

http://www.schiratti.com/dowson.html

In the "Modules" directory you should also find a file named
FSUIPC.key. Open it with a text editor and you should find
an entry like this:

F16.gau=DSVTJE5S6DUO

If it's not there, just add it and close the file.
