Imagin my horror when the voice on the end of the phone told me I would have to reformat my hard drive! That was a member of the MESH Technical Support Team explaining to me the last possible cure to my computer woes! Two reformats later (and a huge phone bill) I am having a new hard drive fitted! On the flip side I have cleared out all the rubbish I had on there, but along with the few gems I have lost were the entire Europe & North America SRTM Terrain Mesh (about 4GB) A whole hanger full of aircraft (2GB) and the flight simulator program. I cant deny I was a little devastated. There has been one upshot to this whole nightmare - my ATC now talks to me! and I can hear helicopter engines, both problems I couldnt seem to get round with the previous install. Anyway thats enough of my pointless rant for one day, better get back to my Uni revision!!

I guess you are now going to do what many of us who have had a similar problem do.
I had the same thing happen a year ago and I said to myself, Never Again!  

1. Buy an external hard drive and a back up software! You can get a Maxtor 120gig and back up software for under $100!  :o

I have over 9 gigs of PAYWARE that is backed up daily!
