Aircraft landing on carriers

Postby quincysw » Fri May 06, 2005 12:48 pm

Could someone please tell me which aircraft are fitted with a working tailhook and therefore suitable for landing on aircraft carriers. Thanks

you need a program such as arcab so that any aircraft with a tailhook will catch the wire..

Most aircraft have them, just do some research

Have you took off from KSFO and gone flying out to the west?

There's a stock carrier there.. ;)

I loaded Flight Deck III which gave me launch, taxi and landing capabilities on an aircraft carrier. It included the ArCab

Yes, with Flight Deck III you can land any aircraft on a carrier, even a B-52!

Actually using the freeware 3wire, the default setting requires a tailhhok down. You can set it not to require this, just check it out below!
