This aircraft http://library.wspilots.com/pafiledb.ph ... le&id=1582 has a beautiful model but I can't for the life of me start the engines.  Has anyone successfully done it?  Ctrl-E doesn't work

there should be an very comprehensive manual for that aircraft included with the download (about 88 pages), which explains how to do it. it's not the easiest plane to get off the ground, that's for sure.

if the download didn't include a manual, search for "project tupolev" here or on any other major flight sim site and you will find it.

or maybe someone else will go through the start up procedures with you, i can't help you here sorry :-*

Okay, I found the 150 page manual for it and after reading through the APU/engine start section a few times, I got it.  It's much more complicated than it needs to be, very realistic but knowing russian helps considerably (I had my roommate help out).

Congratulations! We have to respect a man who reads the manual and finds out how things actually work. It's usually in there -- seems it's just a matter of reading it.
