HELP with NAV radio tuning problems

I have several add-on planes that will not let me tune the NAV 1, NAV 2, or ADF radios.  The planes in question are SGA MD-83&95, IFDG 757, EMB-135, and A-318.

I downloaded and installed some of the very popular panels for the planes for more realism.  For example the Bill Grabowski panel for the Embraer.  The panels function perfectly except for the NAV tunings.

The panels are very similar in that they are 2D and do not have a feature to call up the radio stack.  The throttle quadrant/Radio section sits at the bottom right of the panel.  When I hover over the NAV1, NAV2, and ADF section the "+" and "-" display, but clicking will not change the frequency.  >:(

This is disappointing since I can't shoot the ILS approach to my airports.  I assume it is something in the panel.cfg, but may be wrong.  ???

Any help would be greatly appreciated.  ;)

Are these standard radios? They ought to work unless they are using a special gauge that requires other files to work.

I have yet to run into a panel where any of the radios didn't work. An odd gauge now and then, but never the comms. or nav. gear.

If it's a default FS gauge then there is no reason why it wouldn't work.

i had similar problems with non-original gauges (specially autopilots), what i usually do in this case is a workaround:

open the default b737 panel.cfg

find the radio stack section and copy it

paste it on your planes

I have ran across a few panels that would not let me change the frequencies you are referring too.

Thanks for the replies.  ;D  I am a new poster so I wasn't sure I'd get much attention.  i"ve read the forums for years but never had a reason to post.  I like to figure things out on my own, but this was getting on my last nerve. >:(

I will try your solution Moach, I thought there was a way to map the radio stack to the default but wasn't sure how to do it in the panel.cfg.

I also LOVE the 737 Experience! Great Work...and the radios work flawlessly  ;)

Changing the panel.cfg to map a window to the default 737 Radio Stack did the trick.  Now I can use ILS on these panels.

Thanks for all your help Moach!   ;D
