I don't believe it's illegal to share like a game file is(an aircraft folder for example), so you shouldn't have any problem getting it. I'd give you mine, but it has thousands of callsigns so I think it'd be frowned upon if I posted it.

That's it. It should be in your "aircraft" folder (I think).

On the calsigns or finding the aircraft.cfg?
If the calsigns don't work, then the problem is within the aircraft folders themselves-I've had to fix problems such as these. DO NOT ask for these folders here, instead reload them from the original fs9 disks.
If you can't find the airlines.cfg, just do a system search for it.

my airline.cfg file in the aircraft folder is gone
That file only determines what shows in the 'atc name' window, 'airline call sign' dropdown list. It does not determine what atc recognizes.

What had you used to give the 747 new tail numbers? because mine are all still N747P, N747I etc...

You can change tail numbers for the default a/c by clicking on the atc name 'change' button, and typing in the new tail number.
For a permanent change edit the 'atc_id=' line in the aircraft.cfg file
