Weird problem...gets on ur nerves...

Postby Stormtropper » Wed Apr 20, 2005 6:03 pm

Ok...whenever i press "Shift+E+2", "Shift+E+3", etc... the sim regesters it as "Shift+E"...

so I can't open the 2nd and 3rd exits.... :(

I already tried rebooting the sim and restart..didn't work...

shift+e+3 never works for anything, but I have had the problem of shift+e+2 not working.  Try reloading the aircraft/restarting the game (I know you've tried this, try it again)

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.

No, this is a legit problem.  I've had trouble with this before, and I assure you I knew what I was doing.

If you have a Saitek X45 and have the mode switch on the throttle on any other mode than M2, then shift+e,2 won't work...

This bugged me for a long time till I came up with another answer. Assign extra buttons on my joystick to the "shift-E" and "select 2" options. Then you just hit the select 2 first and holdit while you hit the shift-e button. Works great for me ;D
Note: set the sliders as shown or it may not work correctly!

Hope that helps!!
