Right Aileron Down (left up too!!)

I have got a problem that I am now pulling my hair out over. I am not a computer Muppet, but this one has me stumped.
The problem came from one flight to the next. Here it is:
It does not matter what aircraft I fly, wheather I load old saved flights, or start new, I always have full aileron deflection to the right.  My system config is/was duel monitor, TrackIR, CH Throttle quadrant, CH Virtual Flight Yoke and the ACP avionics box from Aero Soft. All was working fine in harmony with each other, when after a slight misshap with a ground object and a optermistic sink rate, I was sitting on the runway ready for another go. From this point I have full aileron deflection to the right.  My computer now has keyboard and mouse only connected. Still the same problem. Keyboard function for evevator and rudder are fine, but not ailerons.  My other flight sim, Flight Unlimited 3 functions perfectly. Has anyone got any ideas. I am at the point of deleting and reloading. I have never had a problem since day one of installation.
Thanks
Matt

Welcome to Simv ;D   I'm not really qualified to answer really, but it could be your aileron trim.  Have you checked that it is cetered.  If that's not it then someone else will have to answer.  Sorry i can't help more :(

Thanks for the reply Chris, but all trims are in neutral. It is full deflection that I have. Full trim would only give me partial deflection(well in the real world where I work, but FS?). On all aircraft gauges, the indication is centered, and full trim in the opersite direction gives a very very small deflection back against the full deflection.

Is your autopilot left switched on?? happens to me sometimes for no apparent reason.

Cheers,

TSC.

Thanks for the many replies, but it is 100% aileron. As for the auto pilot, I have the same problem with my Piper Cub and auto pilot would not give full deflection, however I will double check, we are talking about an Micro Soft product.  I am at work at the moment so it will be a little time before I can try that out. A simple fix would be welcome.
Before I get any comments about surfing at work, I work for an airline. It is all or nothing in my hanger and at the moment it is nothing.

Keep the sugestions coming
Thanks
Matt

It's the autopilot ......... just hit z before you fly your next flight.

I know the Cub doesn't have autopilot but FS treats it as if it did.

Many thanks to all

It was the auto pilot. For some reason it was defaulting to on each time I started a flight.
Just got to connect all my "bits" back on now. That will no doubt throw up some interesting problem.
Thanks again.

I think you will find that not just the Autopilot was on but that the heading hold too was on so the ailerons were set to turn to the heading you had set............

...just out of interest, put the c172 at the active and turn on the AP AND the HDG hold with the heading set at maybe 180 from the active..........you will see the ailerons take the "one up one down" attitude...turn off the heading hold and they will go back to centre..........fun eh?....commoner ;D

Hi Commoner

Test carried out, and all observed.

Many thanks to all that helped with this problem.
I have been simming with FS since FS3.1 on an Amiga. First time that I have been stumped..............and by a newbie mistake aahhhhhhhhh!!!!!!!!!!!!

this happened to me more than once also.... it does feel like a rookie mistake but if your piper cub has AP turned on, you really won't see it... and it only needs something as simple as  an accidental tap on the Z key to start...

well, now we know, and will know what to do if it happens again...
