HELP!  American is a monopoly!

I recently downloaded American Airlines AI aircraft and when I ran FS9 The entire airport was swarming with American AI Aircrafts and a few default AI airlines.

So I downloaded the other AI aircraft files to see if they would share the airport and no dice. The only other AI I saw in the airport was a British Airways 737 AI aircraft and most of the rest were American and a few defaults.

What happened to the United, Continentel, and South West Airlines AI aircrafts. As well as the rest of the British Airways AI aircraft?

If it would answer my question Iam flying out of Kenedy Intl in New York!

Try PAI, it is better than whatever you are using, my JFK does not look like that...

Also, downloading a JFK AFCAD2 file may help.

Project AI won't do nasty things like that to you.......you don't have to have ANY American airlines...select just what YOU want......great stuff and needs no maintainence............commoner ;)

Hey guys, I have got PAI. Only one problem, which no-one else has mentioned so its obviously my fault somewhere down the line - not always, but sometimes there will be two identical aircraft cruising only a few feet apart, I will put a screenshot on if required, but its not that hard to understand! ;) does anyone have any idea what I might have done wrong? As i said, it is only sometimes. Any ideas?

I get that sometimes too, except they are different airlines. Maybe an Air France and a BA Flting identical aircraft at the same flight level a few feet apart. Sometimes I use them for formation flying practise, it's fun, but I'd like the option to correct it if anyone can help.

PAI Updates your traffic.bgl file and adds it in as a new one...delete/move your traffic(some rediculous number).bgl file and it'll dissapear :)

well South West Airlines doesn't have any flights from JFK...so if PAI works like UT that is it does actual flight then that could be why you don't see that airline, British Airway does fly out of JFK but they don't have 50 flights a day there..so that too you should remember

I had the same problem.

I found that I had duplicate traffic.bgl files, causing exactly what is in the pic.

FS9 will read each traffig.bgl file and use it accordingly. If there are multiple traffic.bgl files you will have multiple aircraft very close together. The more files you have the more aircraft appear.

To take care of it simply delete the earliest trafic.bgl files and leave the latest one.

sorry for the delay response, I actually forgot I posted this I was too busy showing off a new Sikorsky Coast guard HH60 jayhawk I downloaded!

I visited that site PAI and couldn't found any tutorials on installing the aircrafts. Maybe I just didn't look hard enough! I have been spending the last week editiing all the Panel and Aircraft CFG files for all my addons! :-/!

That is alot of work when you have over 50 addon aircraft. But I am an addict! If I see something good that flies great, I just gotta have it! But to make the experience as real as it gets I customize everyone of the downloads!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------

Back to the subject

I am going to spend a while in the AFCAD forum and see if any discussess how to install PAI aircrafts! Thanks for the suggestion!
