could you tell us how your other display sliders are set?
(aircraft, scenery)
sorry, but don't get your hopes up too high. unfortunately fs is very demanding and doesn't particulary like integrated graphic chips. if you plan on using fs9 seriously, i'd highly recommend getting a good graphic card. it will make it much more enjoyable

Can you also tell us your system specs?

What I get from your pic is your graphic adapter is built in to the motherboard. This adapter does not have its own dedicated memory and must use available system memory to work. If you are taxing your system memory, that leaves less for your graphic adapter to use, resulting in the graphic you see in the pic.
Depending on how much memory your system has you may be able to allocate more resources to your graphic card. You will probably require at least 512 meg of ram for your system to do this properly.
However if you are going to spend that kind of money on memory, you might be better off to get a graphic card for your system. There are 64 meg graphic cards out for less the $60 now that will work very well with your system
Lets us know how it turns out.

I have a gateway 420Gr P4 2.8Ghz 1GB Ram with an onboard 128MB intel graphics adapter the suystem is only 2 months old.
I have had problems on my previous system with an Nvidia 32mb 3d card causing the system to become unstable. so opted for this configuration this time.
I have been playing with the graphics all day and have improved it significantly by increasing the frame rate to 70 and changing the resolution.... It seems that this blurring only happens at airports with a lot of traffic (I have rewritten the Traffic BGL for mot of the airports I like to use real airliners and make it a bit realistic ( no american airlines going to obscure italian cities out of heathrow for me.... ) could this be causing the problem ?

Increasing the frame rate helped?
Seems like it would be the other way around, In my honest opinion one does not need the FPS to be set much above 20 to look good, the rest is just bragging rights and lesser performance typically beause the system is striving to get 70FPS
Just my thoughts, not much else I can offer on this topic...

Your graphics card is part of your systems motherboard and as such shares memory with your system. The more complex graphics you want displayed the more memory it requires. This memory must come from the 1gb system memory and if that memory is being used for other programs or purposes it will not be available for the graphic adapter to use.
Your system should be able to handle all of the graphical requirements of FS9 with no problem. Mine does and I have an on board adapter with 640 MB of system ram.
Are you running any other progrmas in the background other than a firewall anf antivirus? There could be something you have running that is a memory hog.
Another thing is to make sure you have all of the latest updates for your computers operating system. One of the latest updates for XP fixed a memory leak problem.
Other than that I am out of ideas.

Thanks for the support guys it seems like the age old problems there isn`t a system that is good for every thing you want, I also play a game with a massive data base (championship manager) and the Nvidia card I had just to conflict with its game engine.....
I guess Ill try to find a happy medium of decent graphics... today im going to shut down all beackgorund programmes and take my American A321 out for a spin from Chicago so San Francisco......
Ill keep you all informed !

American A321 cruising at 32 000 over Des Moines, Iowia on route to San Francisco.
Im still getting poor graphics at airports (slow loading of textures and blurred scenery) but I think this looks pretty good... Also Ive noticed its worse with the default aircraft that dont like seem to like reflections( better if I trun off reflections).
any Ideas ?
