Dont know about scenic 'routes' but for low level scenic flight a couple I enjoy.....

CYVR->PAJN  following the coastal channels

61B->KPGA  NE to Hoover Dam/Lake Meade then up the Grand Canyon.

Both are more scenic with terrain mesh add-ons.

Cheers,
Dave

If you want scenic and want to pay the price for it then get the Mysty Fjords scenery enhancement. That's about as scenic as it gets outside reality.

i always like flying the cesna grand caravan through the hemalayas its fun chalenging because all there is for air ports are small dirt strips and the mountains are prity sometimes its fun to make long trip in small planes there the jets are too fast some times

My all-time favorite (FS2k2 or FS9) is from Puntilla Lake (Rainy Pass Airport 6AK) through the Rainy Pass to Tatitna 8KA (Rohn Roadhouse). Do not fly above 4000' and use a plane which will maneuver below 120kias.

If you want the route (you will never find it on your own) d/l this FS9.PLN DISCLAIMER: USE AT OWN RISK
P.S. the flightplan is just a notepad.PLN file and goes into your Flight Simulator Files folder
Using this VFR, FS9 Iditarod flightplan fly any segment of the trail you want. Just click the link and (S)ave (A)s. It will be good practice selecting the GPS500 LEG by FLT/CURSOR/ARROW DWN/MENU/ENTER/CLR

VFR in Vancouver area and fly eastward, some incredible scenery, especially 2x speed and racing through the valleys.

If you're more layed back, go with northern switzerland during fall, though I may suggest an addon for that area, default is not near real, but some of the best for FS9
