Hey. Why is it when i Have lined up my Approach and put it in the gps, fill out the nav1 / vor, and switched on the app button the aircraft keeps going left and right. mean while the alt and the ILS is fine.

I know whenever I fly an ILS approach it will go back and forth from left to right a few times, but then lines itself before long, also winds can blow the aircraft a bit off course on approach.........

The GPS/Nav button must be set to Nav for APP to work.
EDIT: Misread your post, but this may be the problem anyway.
