Flying Tips...Please Stop

Hello, I think you all know what I mean by Flying Tips...b for Barometer to be set...Ctrl. E for engines to start...well this annoys me every five seonds so I went to the top, general settins and clicked off Flying Tips..went back to loading the FMC and Ctrl E for Engine start any help??? (they won't go away)

I haven't tried it but what happens if you change this fs9.cfg entry to 0

UNITS_OF_MEASURE=0
QUICKTIPS=1
PANEL_MASKING=1

Hmm theres also an option in FS, maybe the settings but cant rember exactly where, I keep em on so they remind me to set HDG and Baro :-[

Atl>Aircraft>Realism Settings---uncheck 'Display Flying Tips'..

The one you unchecked in General, is Tool Tips, gives you messages on instrument mouse overs.

At that time [1909] the chief engineer was almost always the chief test pilot as well. That had the fortunate result of eliminating poor engineering early in aviation.
