How do I....

Postby raeder » Fri Mar 25, 2005 3:36 pm

I was wondering how to get pushed back from the gate and how to make thrust reversers work. Is the a menu where I can go to assign these functions to a flight control or something? My traffic gets pushed back but I don't.

Shift P for pushback, followed by 1 or 2 for left or right F2 for reverse thrust, but thats for landing not pushback.

okay, press shift p to start the pushback, then switch to spot view so you can see where you need to be going, then press 1 or 2 to turn. once you want the pushback to stop, press shift p again.

there, simple  :)

Make sure you release the parking brake before pushback, and I have discovered that even doing this some planes still tip back a bit, but some, like the Dreamfleet/Flight1 Piper Archer will flip over and crash if you dont release the parking brake before push back  :o

it goes without saying that you should press ctrl + . before any kind of movement whatsoever.
