Yaw Damper

Is there a secret to get the yaw damper working?

In every aircraft I have that has the Yaw Damper switch the system is non selectable. Every other switch in that autopilot is selectable except for the yaw damper.

Any suggestions?

...mmm....not sure why ALL your aircraft are affected but open the aircraft.cfg file in one that is, and in the Autopilot section there is a line at the bottom like this....

I never use the yaw damper, I have heard it is there strictly for appearances in FS....

The yaw damper doesnt work on all my aircraft including the default ones that came with fs9.

I found the section you mentioned and changed on my EMB-120 and will try it. I used to use it on fs2k but I have no idea if it really worked. At least the light lit up when I pressed it.
