I normally either fly around my town or all around the world.  I love jotting down hops and flight plans to places I never been to before...  I can start out at one place one night... fly to another... and the next night I will continue at that aerodrome and fly to yet another airport.  Right now, ive started a route down south from my home town... so far visited grand canyon, las vegas... going to los angeles right now... plan to head down to mexico and keep heading south till i reach brazil :)
Cheers,
RB

Anywhere in the world to be honest... but I LOVE Heathrow... only a 45 minute trip from my house in real life! :D

I fly for Livewire Airlines - there you can fly to/from many hubs all over the world. I am a hub manager there of MKJS (Sangster Int. Jamaica) and so I tend to fly that. I tend to fly to places in the US or the Carrabean - well just where the fligth made are really! ;D

Long haul flights are mainly Canada/US to Europe.
All my medium and short flights are flown in European airspace

Normally based out of KPHL (Philly), KJFK (JFK :P) and KLAX.  Great airports.

Anywhere ;)

I was a long haul flyer, but now I'm switching to short-haul. My first flight was Nairobi-Khartoum-Cairo and back in the PMDG 737-700WL Kenya Airways livery.

Cheers,
Ashar

PS: I actually flew on this flight a while back. I used to live in Khartoum where the airport was in front of my house. :) ;)

I base myself at Exeter Airport in the UK because in real life that is my local airport.
Depending on how much spare time (read 'beer') I have, I tend to vary my flights, I either do:

A) Up the coast & back - usually Exeter -> Bournemouth -> Exeter or Exeter -> Shoreham -> Exeter.

Well, SU721/722 UUEE-UUOO-UUEE (Aeroflot Moscow to my home town of Omsk...3 hour convenient flight) The final approach used to be RIGHT over my the building where I used to live (the MM was on the Military academy across the street!) The flights from Moscow (landing at 5:55,6:00,6:10) used to be the wakeup for my dad! (this was before noise regulations...now only Aeroflot's 6:10 can land over the city) well...flying that route brings back some old memories...yeah.
Other routes: Moscow - Sochi (my cottage...helps remember summer) or european routes, or tropical!

1. Short hops in my Beech Baron around Florida (I live in Boca Raton in real life and my simulated home airport is Ft. Liquordale (KFLL).

2. More short hops up and down the California coast in my Baron - very nice scenery and a lot of nice airports - KLAX, KSAN, KSFO ...

3. Jaunts around Euope in a business jet.  I'm learning a lot of geography this way.

3. Whatever tickles my fancy from http://www.fsdestinations.com/index.php (try the Phoenix/Las Vegas run some time).

I'm flying around the world.

Have been in alle countries of Europe, Africa, Asia and have been in Australia and North America. And lots of airports in each country.

Now I am in Uruguay, and I'm flying to Paraguay. Than I go to Brazil (big !) and then I have been in all South-American countries, including antarctica. After that I start looking for a route to New Zealand.

Yes, I started with fs 2000. Nothing in 80 days or 80 hours: 5 years now! And ofcourse most airports I didn't see. Halfway Africa ATC was introduced.

And when I'm finished? Maybe I do it again ....

My default flight is set at CYXD.  Am presently building full scenery for Edmonton downtown as the airport is only a coujple of km NW of the city.  Makes for a pretty scene at night, all those buildings with the red airport lights on them!  Other than that, usually stick within Canada, lots of variety to pick from.

I like to fly from my home airport KSTJ in St. Joseph MO, and do short (15-20 minute) hops to towns close by like Lawrence KS, Cameron MO, Kansas City MO/KS. I was doing a tour around Africa, but got side tracked, so its on hold for now. Lately Ive been going to randome airports in Nepal, and trying to fly to another randome airport without going above a certain altitude. Im also developing my turbo prop-skills in the process.
