VATSIM help?

I have  ServInfo and Advanced Voice Client, but when I log in and try to connect to a voice server i get a message saying i must log in to a VATSIM server first..I know this isnt a great place to post this, but i was having trouble logging into VATSIM forums.

Okay Will, if I read you correctly......

Servinfo has nothing to do with it as its a standalone program and is used to show you who is online. Where the ATC is and pilots flightplans amongst other stuff.
You dont need it to conect to Vatsim, though I would never fly without it.

Advanced voice client wil not connect unless you are already connected to the Vatsim server with squawkbox.
To do this you will need FSUIPC, SBRelay, SBHost(or HostSB) and Squawkbox itself. Currently squawkbox 2.3 and it can be a traumatic experience trying to et connected, I wouldnt have made it without help.

However very soon squawkbox 3 is coming out (a matter of a few weeks) and this will make the whole experience fairly simple I believe.

It may be worth waiting and keeping a eye out on the vatsim forums. Either way its so good when traffic is busy that you wont look back!

i cannot connect to vatsim every time i try it stops responding so i have given up
