Missing Gauges for Spitfires

I recently downloaded the converted Paul Rebuffat spitfires and am missing some gauges.

RDp51d

I understand they're from the reno racers.  I did a search here at SimV but could not find them.  Could anybody point me in the right direction?

Use the replacement panel it suggests....... I'm assuming that you downloaded them from the vintage aircraft here on simv.

The replacement is much nicer and adds a taxiing view for increased functionality.

You're not wrong there eno, mind you Spits aren't famous for their ground view ;D

You need to copy the DVC entries from the original Panel.cfg & paste them into the new one. If the gauges still don't show up it's possible they were left out of this update. You might need to download the Paul Rebuffat  original. Paste the DVC entry here so I can check it out & tell you which gauge or gauges to look for.

OK. That's a lot of DVC entries. Most of the gauges should be contained in the default Spitfire_MKI.gau. This should be included with FS9. There also seem to be 3rd party cluster gauges named PR_SpitVII & WEP. I suspect these will be named PR_SpitVII.gau & WEP.gau but could be PR_SpitVII.cab and/or WEP.cab. They might also be conventional folders with those names. Hope this helps.

PS. I just checked & have PR_SpitVII.gau installed. Can't find the other one. Which Mark of Spit is this?

Just a suggestion that may or may not work.

Many gauges are just slightly modified default gauges.  This one looks curiously like the default P51D.gau.

Try making a copy of P51D.gau and rename it RDp51d.gau.  You won't need to make any changes to panel.cfg to test this and if it doesn't work you can just delete the gauge.

That's the spit panel from the panels page....let's do a bit of creative work and see what I can come up with...thanks!

Edit...
Well, I tried copying and renaming the file and they did show up in the original panel, but not in the VC...maybe they never did (or was anyone else able to get the VC gauges)?

I haven't tried this version of the Spit & I'm not sure which version you have or which panel you're using. If those DVC entrues are from the original panel.cfg & you paste them into the new one most of the DVC gauges should display. I suspect the other gauges I mentioned are included with Paul Rebuffat's original aircraft. The original DVC won't match a different 3rd party panel unless the entries were also changed to add the new gauges in place of the old ones. Even then, there's no way to change the actual DVC.
