even on ultra high

all you do is

have the scenery settings on max
and then just put all of the other settings at minimum
you can still have AI traffic if you want

here is what my frame rates were

009.9 locked at 10fps

even on the highest of scenery settings it still ran realy good

Just had a look at your specs old chap. . . . .
I noticed that your running a GeForce 4200 Ti, now I know you run 2002, but if that's running smoothly on that card (no offence, just look at mine )
I can't even begin to comprehend what card poor old Kernel's got . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .
(GeForce 1200 DOS Version? . . . . . . . . . .LOL!)

...actually....I love my Ti 4200 64k card to bits, (It has faster memory than the 128k version).
I sometimes think to myself, (when I have nothing better to do), should I get a "better?", "more expensive" card...?
...NAH...not for a while...!
My 30 FPS, (locked at 30 FPS), setting in FS 2002, with EVERYTHING MAXED is superb... ...!
...and even FS 2004, with most settings maxed, is perfectly OK at around 25 FPS... ...!

Do I need to thrust loadsamoney into my local PC retailer's hot, sweaty hands....I don't think so... ... ...!

Aye, the thought of spending my "hard earned" cash on new a graphics card hurts me, however I have 2 reasons why I should :

1) - My current card is pants
2) - It's dying

Betty Boob, 8mm, hand cranked, cine-projector , sounds like an awful lot of hard work , I think I'll pass on that one

...anything lower than 15 FPS is not going to run smoothly... ...!
You need to get the frame rates as HIGH as you possibly can.....not LOW...!

My advice would be exchange the computer for a fishing rod.... ...!

..alternatively....Install FS 2002 instead... ...!

I think I'll lock it at 35 though...
