Trying to fly this model "by the book", but the manuals included are for the -100 and -200 models. The gross weight of the -400 is well over that of the -200, according to the model's F&P specs. That weight is way off the -200 chart...
I suspect this is why I can't seem to get it to level off at the altitude I've programmed into the AP... even with Autothrottle on and the book-spec Mach #, she overspeeds immediately, and can't be recovered.
Another question is: if an altitude is programmed, and an airspeed, how do you determine the best rate of climb? None of the charts in the manual show a target rate of climb.
I guess I could go by the little information provided in the default -400 specs...?
