I'v noticed that my airplane clock loses 5 min. out of every 20 to 30 min. real time. Then just the other day I had a complete computer crash. Upon restarting itself I caught a quick message that my battery was in need of replacement. I'l replace the battery right enought but was wondering if thats the reason for the aircraft clock to lose so much time.

Strongly doubt that. Strongly.
EDIT: Unless the fs in-game clock runs off the comp clock, which I don't think it does.

The only battery I know of in a desktop system is the battery that keeps your bios settings when you turn the CP off. Until you replace that one everytime you start the PC it will use the default settings in you bios and ignore any changes you have made.
System date and time are one of those settings.
Unlike a battery operated clock, a low battery will not cause the PC clock to run slow. Some systems, and I have one, do not keep accurate time for one reason or another. This is especially true of Win95, Win98 and Win ME systems. XP has a built in routine that automatically syncronizes the clock as necessary every time you go online.
You can also download a time server program that will keep your PC clock accurate. One such program is Atomic Clock Sync, available at worldtimeserver.com
Hope this helps.

You're not by chance running an addon for the sim that sets the sim time to system time are you?
They are out there, never tried em though...

Hey, I did the dust discovery too! is quite amazing what a difference just giving the boards a gentle dust can do! From now on I intend to dust the pc once a week!

To Superfortress_Lover and all replys; No I don't think I'v added anything like that. However I'm not sure what system time and flight time mean in the SETTINGS/GENERAL Option in the flight sim. I have system time checked. Also, I'm running XP and the clock I have on my desktop keeps great time! Oh yes; about the dust. Great idea and I do try to keep it cleand out. (We have a big dust problem here for some reason). Wildie.
