Air traffic custom aircraft

Postby FKW » Sat Mar 05, 2005 3:07 pm

How I can allow the air traffic to choose any of the aircraft I had downloaded?, specially to use for example russian planes when on Russia or national airlines when on a determined country?

To make your aircraft to become AI planes, you need TTools. It's not that easy to use (in my humble opinion). Easier is to go to http://www.projectai.com and download many different airline companies from around the world. So you have more realistic AI where you want to fly. TTools can also be found at this site if you want to use it.

It wouldn't work for FKW but you could easily do this by adding repainted textures to the default aircraft. This would change the existing default traffic to whichever airlines you wish without messing around with TTools. That's providing the textures are available of course.

FKW. You could do what I did when I was feeling my way with TTools. Simply use it to change the default aircraft used as AI traffic with similar Russian types. They would still use the existing flightplans until you get around to figuring that part out. It's not that difficult once you get the hang of it & detailed instructions are included. Slow but sure is my motto.

PS. I'm not sure that PAI do any Russian types. They will probably do BA & other British airlines.
