Was just wondering if anyone has tried FS-9 with Windows XP 64-Bit and if so, did it work OK.

Thanks

Richard

I have not tried it but is should work xp 64bit support the 32bit application(like win95 supported 16 bit). but you will gain nothing beside a stronger cpu.... that all i know for now.

From my understanding if your running something like the 64-bit edition of windows, you'd have more resources free to handle your other programs that may or may not be 32-bit?

Just my thoughts, whether right or wrong..;-)

Not really. Unless the program(s) you are running is optimized for 64-bit use, you won't notice much difference.

I dont know if xp64 would be bright enaught to use the other 32bit set for other app. if it does a load balancing it would be a improvement but other wise few I wont get xp64 any time soon.

After posting the question I had some issues with some other drivers and reformatted the HDD and loaded XP-Home.

Might have to give 64-bit a year after its release to get all of the vendor drivers up to speed.
