Clean Up

Hi everyone,
It there a 'clean up' program available to clean out all of my freeware addon's.  I have lots of them that some I don't use anymore and would like to get rid of them.  I don't want to have to go through all of the uninstall and reinstall stuff.  Any advice would be good.

And another problem is there a way to add in extra airlines to the ATC callsigns.

Cheers......Chris ;D

You might try Flightsim Manager. It lets you remove airplanes and reinstall them quickly.

Just be sure that if you do remove files that you are sure when you delete guages, effects, etc...

you can easily end up with a hangar full of aeroplanes without instruments! ;-)

There is a program called "wipegauges" out there somewhere that will get rid of unused gauge files as well.  Worth it as these files seem to take up a fair amount of space.  Have used this utility without any problems here.

If your refering to the default list that only show the fictional airlines: FS9 ATC recognizes many real airline callsigns not shown in that list. For a (nearly)full list go here....
http://www.simviation.com/fs2002misc1.htm

Download the ;..Airlines Callsign..' file and follow the instructions. ('Southwest' can be added to the list as FS9 recognizes it)

If your refering to adding callsigns not recognized by FS9 ATC that requires using a utility call EditVoicePack .

Cheers,
Dave
