FS 10 / FS 2006 New Default Aircraft

Postby N723GW » Fri Feb 18, 2005 9:06 pm

I know this has been discussed before, but I think a poll is a neat way to see all of it
Life is like an airplane...you can only go one way. Straight. You can't throw it in reverse, you can't parallel park. One way only.

Aircraft are naturally beautiful because form follows function. -TB

I haven't flown a default airplane in... Heck, I can't remember when I last flew a default. Maybe just after FS 2004 came out and nobody had made any decent add ons yet.

Personally I'd like to see more in the way of general aviation aircraft and maybe one or two business props and jets.

I'm sure any decisions have been made, but a larger helicopter wouldn't go amiss...

I don't think the actual aircraft matter so much as a good variation of aircraft & helicopters. This will enable the 3rd party developers to do their stuff. FS9 is the best yet but it's still not possible to have more than 4 engines or mixed-powerplants. I assume that retracting gear on helicopters now funtions properly.

Except for AI traffic the only default aircraft I use in FS9 is the Piper Cub.
