What graphics card are you using?  Have you tried updating the graphics drivers?

That might be the problem. I have an NVidia GForce 4. Last time I updated my drivers I got the same enlarged panels and stretched scenery in Fs9. Luckily I set a restore point before installing new drivers. If possible you may want to go back a driver version and see if that fixes things.

I copied this from my own fs9.cfg.

[PANELS]
IMAGE_QUALITY=1
UNITS_OF_MEASURE=0
QUICKTIPS=1
PANEL_MASKING=1
PANEL_STRETCHING=1

What happens if you change the value of the last entry to 0?

Pubba,

I had the very same problem just this week from downloading a new driver to my nvidia card.

I was advised to DELETE my fs9.cfg file. When you bring it back up, it will re-generate a new fs9.cfg file. I did that reluctantly, but it worked!!

NO MORE oversized files.

If you don't know where to find the fs9.cfg file it is in WINDOWS/APPLICATION DATA/MICROSOFT.

Try it, you'll like it.
