It keeps sending me to this page, not giving me the option to actually save it. Why is this, can it be fixed cus almost all the ones i want are doing this.

Have you tried right clicking on the link and selecting "Save Target As"? It should work just by clicking normally but if not way usually works.

I had a problem like that with AVSIM where all files just saved to a temp directory. I use save as for downloads off here but I also use a download manager called GetRight and can recommend it.

Which pages are you trying to download from Stinky? I've never experienced this problem in almost 6 years of regularly downloading files from this site.

try setting your bookmark to http://www.simviation.com/menu.html
you should have no problems and it gives you the new downloads for that day.
