shift 3, 4, etc
Posted: Mon Jan 31, 2005 10:19 amhi all, can anyone help? when fs9 says to press shift 3 etc what do i press? ive tried pressing shift + 3, shift +f3, but i have no idea! ???

the + sign means 'and' or 'then or 'after'
either way it's holding-down SHIFT -- then the number
Thus, pushback is:
Pushback Start/Stop
SHIFT+P

Posted: Mon Jan 31, 2005 12:16 pmAnother thing you might check is if the number you are to press is found on the top of the keyboard or on the number pad. Most shift+numpad combinations are for views, but I suppose an add-on developer could assign them differently.

Posted: Mon Jan 31, 2005 1:01 pmIn this case it's the numbers on the keyboard, not the Num Pad keys. The Shift + 2, 3, 4 etc. key commands open the pop-up windows on the panel. These do the same as the clickable buttons on the default panels. Just the same in all versions of FS.
