no benchmarking, just your average everyday FPS

mine is usually just above 10, every once in a while it spikes for just a second to like 23, then plummets to 1 or 2 then back to normal. But, my new comp will be ready tomarrow or saturday... hopefully... If not, then Im moving to a cave.

Mine is locked at 25 also, but depending on the airport it gets no lower than 15.

This is a very tricky question to answer.  Its only at busy airports I drop down to 22, once airborne it goes way up and then depends on what angle I look at the plane.

I will put in what FS-GS worked out my average FPS to be I think.

I only wish I could get above 15.. Every time I fly near Tacoma or downtown Seattle, I'll be lucky to see 10FPS. If I decide to take off from Kennedy International, 5FPS is about all I'll get.

Waitaminnit. I did get above 15 - but that's when flying in mountainous regions.

Flying in clouds: 10 or less.

Flying in clear weather: 25 or more ...

Flying when my comp. is just started up: 25 or more.

Flying when my kids have used the comp. all day: 15 or less. Yes, I restart my comp., and yes, I use FS autostart (when I'm not downloading anything).

Do we hear anything of your research?

I have my fps set to 30, and in with clear skies, or very few clouds and in 2D view I can get 27-29. In the big cities, heavy weather, or views other than 2D, usually 10-20  ;D

I actually get quite a lot of frames (around 90-95 even in the most demanding places, such as KLAX with SimFlyers, Megascenery and Ultimate Traffic). But I'm getting an even better PC soon!

Cheers,

Rob

Locked at 25. I prefer looks over frame rates anyways. ;)

Locked at 24, see as little as 9 in some situations... I'd say an average of 14-18. But I need more RAM and a faster CPU...

Mine's locked @ 35fps, rarely drops below 20 all sliders maxed.  :)

As mentioned previously i'll let you know FPS when i've installed some Payware/Scenery...
