Flight time in logbook problem

I keep getting this message and I don't know how to make it stop and add the apropiate time into the log book. It comes up at the end of each session, when I exit the FS 9.1 out of the box series.

Well I can't figure out how to post a pic, so I'll just type what it says

You have chosen to log flight time but the
logbook ? does not exist. You will not be
able to log flight time untill you recreate the
flight time logging file or select a new flight
time logging file in the logbook dialog.

Anyone have any ideas?

Marlin

Hiya Marlin..

Go to the Settings screen and click the General tab..there you will see a box named Log Flight Time..which in your case is probably checked..if so ..UNcheck it.........IF it is already UNchecked then I guess I can't help...commoner ;)

When I created my logbook Flightsim created a folder in My Documents where it keeps the Notepad for the logbook, I believe it is named Flight Simulator Files, check to see if it is there....I was having the same problem whenever I would delete everything out of there except the logbook, but then noticed there were four files in there besides the logbook notepad, I think there are Previous Flight, Previous Flight Wx, UI Flight, and UI Wx, or something to that affect, and if I left those in there along with the logbook notepad I didnt have any more problems with it....Hope that helps  ;D

Never did like the default FS logbook. Several logbook programs out there but for the same price you can get a real log book. That's where I keep track of all my flights for BFU. Standard Pilot Log will cost around $10. Takes a lot of flights to fill one up so it's pretty cheap for the use you get from one.
