I just downloaded the Boeing 737-800. It was just the base file. I put the file in C:/ Program Files/ Microsoft Games/ Flight Simulator 9/ Aircraft. Did I do anything wrong??? Please let me know if I did. It would really help me.

If you simply placed the downloaded file into the folder it wont work. Downloads are generally .zip or .exe files and must be extracted before placing their contents into FS. Included in the extracted files/folders is usually a readme.txt or installation.txt file that will explain how to properly install.

Here are a couple of links to tutorials that will explain the proceedure for you.

Hiya Who1234...These things vary, so you would have to say exactly which file you downloaded and from where before anybody could say for certain.....It would be no good placing the Zipped download where you did...you would have to open it and see what is inside ...sometimes all the neccessary files are already in a folder with the name of the aircraft and it just needs moving into the aircraft folder, but other times there are gauges and effects etc to move around...lets know if you need more advice. The included Readme file is usually helpful too.....commoner
